HOW SCORING WORKS
All events use a standardized base point scale. Your placement determines your base points, then the tier multiplier is applied.
STANDARDIZED PLACEMENT POINT SCALE
Placements beyond 16th earn 0 points. Each event's championship value = placement points × the competition's tier multiplier.
COMPETE & PLACE
Register for and compete in any Calisthenics Canada sanctioned event. Only CC-backed competitions generate official ranking scores — your placement determines your base points using the standardized scale above.
Example: 3rd place at a Regionals event = 430 base points
TIER MULTIPLIER APPLIED
Your base score is multiplied by the tier multiplier of the event. Higher tier events reward performance more heavily.
Base Score: 430 points × Regionals (Tier 3) Multiplier: 3x
= 1,290 weighted points
TOP 5 AVERAGE PER MODALITY — SUM FOR OVERALL
Your modality score is the average of your top 5 event results in that discipline (fewer than 5? we average what you have — lower results beyond your top 5 never pull you down). Your overall score ("Hub Pts") is the sum of all four modality scores — Freestyle, Streetlifting, Sets & Reps, and Statics — rewarding athletes who compete across all disciplines.
Freestyle (top 5 avg):
(2000 + 1500 + 1200 + 1000 + 800) / 5 = 1,300 pts
Streetlifting (top 5 avg):
(1500 + 1200 + 900 + 600 + 300) / 5 = 900 pts
Sets & Reps (top 5 avg):
(1200 + 900 + 600 + 400 + 200) / 5 = 660 pts
Statics (top 5 avg):
(1000 + 800 + 500 + 300 + 200) / 5 = 560 pts
Overall (Hub Pts): 1,300 + 900 + 660 + 560 = 3,420 pts

Become an OrganizerCHAMPIONSHIP YEAR
Rankings are calculated per Championship Year (January 1 – December 31). Scores count toward the year they were earned. Historical years are preserved on athlete profiles.
Score earned on July 10, 2026 → counts for the 2026 championship year leaderboard
PERFORMANCE OVER VOLUME
A top-5 average per modality rewards consistent high-level performance rather than favoring athletes with more money to travel. A Competition Activity Bonus adds a small boost for athletes who compete more often within a modality — an incentive, never enough to outweigh a strong placement.
Can't travel? Maintain rank via the Virtual Benchmark Series (Tier 1).
TIE-BREAKERS & VERIFIED BOOST
When athletes have identical ranking scores, ties are broken in order: highest single event score → most 1st-place finishes → most podium (top-3) finishes → most competitions participated in. Athletes who claim and verify their Hub account also receive a +10% boost on their Overall score.
All ranking points are shown as whole numbers ("Hub Pts"). Rankings count toward the championship year (Jan 1 – Dec 31) in which the score was earned.
TITLE VS. RANK
Understanding the difference between the National Champion and the #1 ranked athlete.
NATIONAL CHAMPION
The winner of the National Finals (Tier 4) earns the title of National Champion for that year.
#1 RANKED ATHLETE
The "Best in Canada" based on consistent performance across all tiers over the rolling championship year.
