Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Calisthenics Canada Competition Hub ("CC Hub", "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

CC Hub is open to all calisthenics athletes, event organizers, and spectators. Athletes must be 14 years of age or older to register for competitions. Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activity under your account is your responsibility. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.

4. Athlete Profiles & Scores

Athletes may maintain both official (sanctioned) and unofficial (unsanctioned) scores on the platform. Sanctioned scores are verified by CC-approved organizers and count toward national rankings. Unofficial scores are self-reported and visible only for personal tracking unless the athlete opts to make them public. CC reserves the right to remove scores that are found to be fraudulent or in violation of competition rules.

5. Event Organizers

Organizers must comply with all CC competition standards when listing events on the Platform. By creating an event, organizers agree to the Organizer Terms outlined during the event creation process. CC reserves the right to remove, suspend, or modify any event listing that violates platform standards or applicable laws.

6. Sanctioning Fee

Events that charge an entry fee are subject to a 10% sanctioning fee payable to Calisthenics Canada. This fee supports athlete development, platform infrastructure, and the growth of the sport across Canada.

7. Payments & Refunds

All payment processing is handled through Stripe. Entry fees are generally non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organizer. Organizers are responsible for communicating their own refund policies to registered athletes. CC is not liable for disputes between athletes and organizers regarding payments.

8. Data & Privacy

CC Hub collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA). Athlete profiles, scores, and competition histories may be publicly visible by default. You may adjust visibility settings in your profile. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and design are the property of Calisthenics Canada. Athletes and organizers retain ownership of their submitted content (photos, videos, descriptions) but grant CC a non-exclusive license to display and promote such content on the Platform.

10. Proprietary Platform & Intellectual Property Protection

The Calisthenics Canada Competition Hub ("CC Hub") is a proprietary software platform developed exclusively for and owned by Calisthenics Canada. This includes, without limitation:

• The platform's overall concept, architecture, and design
• All scoring systems, ranking algorithms, and tier/multiplier logic
• The benchmark open system, including module structures, scoring formulas, and qualification workflows
• The athlete registration and approval workflow
• All visual designs, user interfaces, and user experience flows
• Database schemas, entity structures, and data models
• All source code, backend functions, and automations powering the Platform

No part of this platform — including its concepts, logic, workflows, designs, or code — may be copied, reproduced, reverse-engineered, adapted, or used as the basis for any competing or derivative platform without the express written permission of Calisthenics Canada. Unauthorized replication of this Platform's functionality or design, in whole or in part, constitutes an infringement of Calisthenics Canada's intellectual property rights and may be subject to legal action.

11. Limitation of Liability

CC Hub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Calisthenics Canada is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in events listed on the Platform. Organizers bear full responsibility for athlete safety at their events.

12. Amendments

Calisthenics Canada reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
